Grange Installs Officers For Coming YearEast Hampton Grange No. 109, P. of H., installed officers at the meeting held last week Wednesdayevening in Chatham Hall. A pot-\luck super served oy the Home Economics Committee preceded the ceremonies. The installing team consisted of Henry Olson, Central Pomona deputy, and his staff of Middlefield Grange, with Richard Harris, acting master. Marshals were Mildred Olson and Ada Malcolm of Middlefield; emblem bearer was Mae Hale of Hemlock Grange, Portland; regalia bearer was Katherine Steele of Middlefield Grange; chaplain was Watson Hale of Hemlock Grange; soloist was Margaret Harris of Mattabessett Grange; and pianist was Gladys Harris of Mattabessett.Officers who were installed are as follows: master, Harry Briggs; overseer, Lester Alden; lecturer, Doris Gough; steward, Leighton Gough; assistant steward, Alva West; chaplain, Clara Fowler; treasurer, Grace Burnham; secretary, Alma J. Case; gatekeeper, Charles Anderson; Ceres, Marion Alden; Ponoma, Betty Hartinger; Flora, Sarah Austin; lady assistant steward, Margaret Berner. All officers were installed except Max Starke, who is a member of the Executive Committee for three years; he is ill.Guests were present from Middlefield, Mattabessett, Hemlock, and Colchester Granges.
