It£rSuperior Quits H. B. Deep TestsHUNTINGTON BEACH, Dec. 24. —The Superior Oil company has announced definite abandonment of6 all deep test oil drilling projects in £ this area. The company has also * abandoned Its project for a gaso-' line reduction plant on the east | ( bluff Just outside the city limits near the intersection of California and Atlanta avenues. The 14-acre tract purchased a year or more ago for a refinery site is now listed for sale with a local realty firm.The gasoline reduction plant had been projected when there was hope for a deep oil zone being opened here. The present production of the field does not warrant the erection of the proposed plant, it is stated
