New Dock Ht Vineland.F. L. Daigle of Vineland was in the city Wednesday or. his return from Cass Lake. Bemidji and other northern points. He is planning to secure the construction of a dock at Vineland. at the eastern end of the road leading from Little Falls to MilleLacs.The water in the lake is somewhat shallow at that place, and the dock must be about 300 feet from the shore line to optain a depth of six feet of water. Mr. Daigic estimates that a dock of oak piling with three-inch floor, and substantial approach, can be built for about $400. He is planning to secure the aid of some Little Falls people who own real estate near the clock site.There are several gasoline and steamboats on the lake’, and there are docks at Cove, Lawrence and Midland. The Foley-Bean company has a large steamer on the lake. There is a boat that will next year make trips around the lake for the Midland creamery, collecting cream and milk from the farmers along the shore.— Nlilaca Times.
