I ma of AthemeNext Summer-Future Moves WillDepend Upon Desuit of the torSpring Election- 11ElithiIex c amSince the action of the reform committee taken to prevent the production gc-j of “The Night Before Christmas’* at ^ the Nielsen Sunday evening,, it has been rumored that the committee might take action to prevent the production of vaudeville performances on Sunday at Cedar Point next summer.In conversation with a Star reporter this morning, Mr. Theodore Alvord. the reform committee's attorney, said that the Sunday shows at Cedar Point was a matter which had been under consideration for some time. He further said that it would be impossible to tell definitely what the reform committee would do next summer. He suggested that in the spring a mayor might be elected who would enforce -the laws, thus making even, the existence of the reform eonimitt.ee unnecessary.But, Mr. Alvord continued, unless the next mayor does enforce the laws, and the reform committee continues to exist, it will probably take action to stop Sunday shows at Cedar Point.Mr. Ahord said that there was no ill feeling on the part of the members of the committee against Mr. Boeckling or the Ctdai Point company, but that it was pioposed that the laws should be respected and obeyed.While there is no official information given out by the Cedar Point company beyond the statement that the resort may not be opened at ali next season, one member of the resort company, it is understood, has said emphatically that Cedar Point will not be opened next summer.Something official and definite will probably be determined upon within the next ten days.tFHu:IhatAteIlettMofoildiningofHeRaiTin
