As soon as the fox perceived him, at one leap he was through the hole; the wolf tried to follow, but he had eaten so much that he stuck fast, and the fanners cudgel presently laid him dead.The fox reached home safely, and rejoice*! exceedingly that he waa at length freed from the tyranny of the old glutton.
