Moriah church on the line ot Hall and Gwinnett counties, was shot and killed presumably by two bailiffs who went to his home to arrest him early Saturday morningCleghorn was charged with sel ling whisky around Perry-Rainey College at Auburn, Gwinnett county. He was indicted for the ofiense by the last Gwinnett grand jury, and the Perry-Rainey college authorities offered a reward of $25 for Cieghorn’s arrest.J t is said that two Gwinnett county bailiffs went to Oleghorn’s home early Saturday morning to arrest him , but he heard them approaching and ran out a door aud off into the darkness. It is thought they shot at him to make him halt .not intending to kill him, but in the darkues® their guns wer pointed at him and he reoeived a load which produced his instant death.
