A mdnight High Mass will usher in the joy of ‘ne Nativity at St. Peter’s Church. Preceding the Mass at 11:30 p.m., Sunday, the Children’s choir will sing the traditional Christmas carols. This will be followed by the blessing of the Christmas Crib and the High Mass at which Father Joseph J. Steckler, Pas tor of the Church, will be cele brant. Father William Brown, an Indiana University Graduate Student, wll be co-celebrant at the Altar and will also deliver the Christmas message. Serving as altar boys will be Rickie Benefiel, Steve Fields, Tom Sparks, Jerry Lockrahm and Pat Taylor. Members of the Choir under the direction of Mrs. Cynthia Ross are: Juanta Aydt, Jean Cary, Roma Clayton, Ginger Franklin, Deborah Rethman, Christine Sparks, Ellen Ferry, Janet Franklin, Diana McBride, Kerry McBride, Kathleen Aydt, Chris 'na McBride, De'dra Mc Bride, Maureen McShane, Nancy Powell, and Susan Wade. Mrs. Ross will solo a Christmas Lul laby and Schubert’s Ave Maria. Paula Ferry and Mary Stock rahm will be the organists. Either Masses will be at 8 a.m. Sunday at St. Joan of Aire, Jasonville, and 9:30 p.m., again at St. Peter’s. The choir at St. Joan of Arc is under the direc tion of Mrs. Vaunda Fischer who will also play the organ. The St. Joan choir members are Rebecca Fougerousse, Ann Hudson, Joyce Trump, Lisa Johnson Tina Johnson, Della Jones, Jeffrey Johnson, Mikel Hudson, Mike Talpas, Mike Fou gerousse, Doug Hudson, Barry Trump, Tim Fougerousse, Joe Hudson, Mike Jones, Ed Trump Father Steckler and members of the parsh extend a warm home to anyone who wishes to attend these services. Book lets will be available at the church doors for the conven ience of the visitors to follow the ceremonies. Also visitors are welcome to visit the church any time during the day ‘through the holidays until the Feast of the Epphany, Jan. 6, to view the Crib prepared in honor of the “Coming of Jesus.” Father Steckler said it is ‘h’s wich and that of his parishioners that “the In’an: Son of God, a‘ this time of the year, grant peace, hope and cheer in the hearts of all our friends and neghbors.”’
