High School NotesBeulah Palmore is able to be at school again after a week’s illness.Mr. and Mrs. Thurman Long, Mrs. Long being a former teacher of Veeders-burg High School, gave a party for the senior class Friday evening at their home southeast of Hillsboro. Upon arrival, the seniors were tfartilywelconied Into this country home, which had been very art* isticly decorated in keeping with the Christmas time. Contests, games, music j and social conversation furnished enter*! tainment for the evening. Refreshments | of punch, candy and popcorn were served. Special guests were the hosts’ sister and i cousin, Misses Mary and Grace Long of Waynetown. As the seniors departed they proclaimed Mr. and Mrs. Long royal entertainers.Following are the names of the students who will att*nd the Purdue course,the first five having won Purdue trips, Mac kecd, Vernis Clore. Edgar Roach,! Tom Rusk, Margurite Minnick, Elizabeth Cook, Helen Reed, Perry Cook, Maurice Galloway, Dallas Henry, Paul Boatman and Paul Gossett.
