Atlanta.—The proposition to extend the Ocilla Southern railroad through the central portion of the state is being discussed with a great deal of j interest among the railroads and also | among the citizens of the section to J be traversed by the new road. The new road will be one of the most important in the state, giving connec- j Lion with the Southern, Seaboard, Atlantic Coast Line, Atlanta, Birmingham and Atlantic, Georgia and Flor--da, and in fact every other road in the state. It will be a direct line hrough the center of the state.
