Noah R. Palmer, a veteran of the civil war and a member of the battery of light artilery formed at Michigan City, who was latter a resident of Elkhart for nearly thirty years, died yesterday afternoon at the soldiers’ home at Lafayette, where he weut several years ago. His remains will probably be brought to Elkhart for burial by Elmer Post, G. A. R., of which he was a member.
