Mrs, Lucy Sweet Barber, of Alfml, is receiving considerable attention from the public just now. She ewore in Ijer vote at the-last election and it was counted. She is a woman about 50 rears of ago,Vand is an earnest, rugged, sensible American wife and mother. Some of the'eno-mies of woman suffrage at Alfred took preliminary steps to prosecute her, but they came in contact tvith an obstacle *that upset their calculations. Of course she voted the prohibition ticket. Where is there an intelligent woman that would not ?
