Vote of Confidence in tSie PresidentThe following resolution, introduced by Mr. Treat, of Bridgeport, was passed in the House 011 Friday by a vote of ISO io -12.Resolved. Thai our confidence in the patriotism aud integrity ol‘ the President of the United Statesremains unshaken, and that as the representatives of the people ol' this State, we pledge ourselves w support aud sustain him in the prosecution of all measures which shall be found necessary to suppress the infernal rebellion now raging, and to re-establish the National Union, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution, and restore the supremacy of the law throughout our entire country.
