Obituary JOHN FASTENOW PETERSON — John Fastenow, 91, died Dec. 15 at Sioux Valley Memorial Hospital in Cherokee. He was born Dec. 28, 1880 at Peterson and was con firmed in the Brooke Church. He was unmarried and had worked many years as a carpenter. Preceding him in death were two sisters in infancy and two brothers, Charles of Peterson and William of Creston. He is sur vived by nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Dec. 18 at St. John’s United Church of Christ with Rev. Allen Dumke officiating. Burial was in ‘St. John’s Cemetery at Peterson.
