Harry Lee Reagan Small Boy Loses Both Eyes And A Hand In Dynamite Explosion. Harry Lee Reagan, of Meade coun ty, Ky., who is a grandson of Brice Reagan, of Mauckport, met with a terrible accident one day last week which may cost his life. The boy, who is about eight years old, was out in the field with his father who was blowing out places in which to set fruit trees by means of dynamite and the explosion of a cap resulted in the loss of both eyes and one hand of the little fellow. The hand was torn off above the wrist. In a letter to relatives the father says “they do not know positively how the accident occurred.” He was busy about his work but he thinks the child must have picked up the cap which exploded in his hands with the result mentioned. The condition of the boy is quite serious and he may not recover. The boy’s parents are former Harri son county people and they have the sympathy of many relatives and friends in their trouble.
