Nottingham, at Cape Charles, Wednesday.The class of 1912-13 of the High School has been organized'with the following officers: John E. Wise, president; Miss Lotta Selby, vice-president; Miss Catherine Tignall, secretary ;Miss PearlRoss,treasurer.Mr. Stewart K. Powell attended the banquet given by the Southern Society of New York at the Waldorf-Astoria Tuesday evening. He was the guest of Mr. John S. McMaster. President-elect Wilson was the speaker of the evening.The engagement of Rev. Custis Fletcher, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas E. Fletcher, and Miss Margaret Prestley, of San Antonio, Texas, has been announced; the marriage to be solemnized in January. Mr. Fletcher is the rector of the Episcopal Church, at Temple, Texas.- Among others home for Chrismas are: Miss Bessie P. Taylor, teacher of Latin in the John Marshall High School, Richmond; Miss Margaret Bratten, principal of the Oceania High School; Miss Kate Bratten, teacher at Princess Anne C. H.; Miss Emma Bratten, principal of Mappsville school; Miss Eva Stewart and Miss Susie Rogers teachers at Parksley; Miss Margaret Stewart, of the Georgetown University Hospital; Miss Catherine Stewart of the LeCato School; Miss Elsie Stewart, teacher at Petersburg; Henry Powell and J. Fred Van Pelt, attending medical colleges in Richmond; Robert S. Hopkins and Spencer F Rogers, of' Eastman College,.
