James AlexanderFrDies in Illinois.WCwiJames M. Alexander, manager of the Bruce Sewing Machine Company for this city, and for nine years connected with that company, died at 10 o'clock last night at St. John's hospital after a lingering illness of tuberculosis. He was aged 33 years.IMr. Alexander was born in Cumberland Gap, Tenn., Feb. 28, 1878.He is survived by his father, eight brothers and four sisters.Mr. Alexander wus held in high esteem by his business associates and friends.The body was taken to the undertaking parlors of Murray Gaa. To-day the remains will be forwarded to Cumberland Gap, Tenn., being accompanied by Robt. L Alexander, a brother, who has been attending the bedside of Mr. Alexander.—Springfield (111.)
