We arc inronn*d My a person prosent that he arose in his usual health tfhis morning, and was sitting by the stove awaiting the sleigh to take him, as was his daily custom, to his office in town, when nil of a stidde i his wife observed him faiating, and called for the assistance of Mr. Green who was living in the house with thc.li, who immediately came and placing his arm around him, supported him in his chair, and spriukWd cold water on his head airol face; but with two gasps life was extinct .
