fEEiini*vrV»}IThis same group painted the -portrait of G. H. Von Fuchs, Chief Chemist at the Shell Petroleum plant at Wood River. This portrait of the Chemical Research expert can be seen at the residence of Miss Lucille Walker of 611 East Eighth street. Miss Walker has | done a number of adroit drawings in charcoal and many of her oil paintings are displayed on the r walls of her home. These too can ' be seen by any interested indivi-} duals.Almost without fan-fare or publicity these Artists have been congregating quite frequently. Any t inhabitant of Alton or the sur- ' rounding area is requested to attend these gatherings particularly those who are given with appreciation and admiration for culture * and beauty. Art gives a wide held of expression for the most Imaginative intellect, or unorthodox mind.
