J. C Sim*.News was received here Tuesday of the death of Mr. J. C. Sims at his home near Nettletcn after a short illness. Mr. Sims had moved with his family from his old home east of Tupelo only ten days ago. He was taken ill soon after his move and died within a few days. Deceased was an old and respected citizen of the county. He was an ex-Confederate soldier and bore an honorable record in the service of the Lost Cause. His deathwill be regretted by many,friends.
