He was born Jan. 10, 1870, on the old home farm near ' Hazleton, Ind. He lived with his father on the farm until the death of his father in 1891, after which he took possession of the farm UDtil 1904, when he moved to Hazleton. In the fall of 1906 he embarked in the coal business and has since continued to handle the best grades of Princeton and Ayershire coal.Sarah Jones. He was born June 23,1863, in Wood Co.* Ohio. He came to Hazleton August 8, 1886, employed at the hotel run by T. F. Treadway. He went to the country and worked on farms in the nearby vicinity a few years, and August, 1891 set up a barber shop in Hazleton. In a few yearshe went into the undertaking♦business that he now carries on.
