Opp. First National Rank.OBITUARY.(Communicated.)The death of Edwin K. Townseud, who was killed by the cars Tuesday evening, has cast deep sorrow over his family and friends. He was highly respected among all who knew him, and was a faithful and good Christian and a member of the M. E. church of Mill City for 35 years. Ho had been visiting his son, William Townsend, of Scranton, and his daughter, Mrs. Charles Felter, of Wllkesharre, and on his way home he stopped off to see his niece, Mrs. B. C. Vanduzer. of this city. He was to take the o’clock train for his home In Mill City, when tho accident occurred. Undertaker Burns took charge of the body and prepared it for burial, after which it was removed to the home of his niece, Mrs. B. C. Vanduzer. where brief services were held last evening, conducted by Rev. Mr. Holmes and Rev. Mr. Severson. This morning the body tvas removed over tho Lehigh Valley to its late home, where services were held in the church at 10.30 o’clock.
