IG; aged eighty, two years and eight months.When ten years of age she movedwith her parents to Butler Co.. Ohio.Eleven years later she moved to. • .Darke Co., Ohio, where she was married to Solomon Robbins in the yearShe united with the Christian Church at Shiloh -JO years ago and remained u faithful member of that church until death.Together with her husband she moved to Randolph Co., Ind., and settled north of Farmland, in Monroe township in 1855. Jn 1 855 they j moved to Farmland, where her lius-I band was engaged in blacksmithing. Her husband died July 15, 1877.Since the death of her husband she has lived among her children. There were born to them eight children, four sons and four daughters, five children are now living, Win. S. of Minuet)pota, Elizabeth S. Collins, of California. Mrs. Ruth I*. Gray, of Red Key, Irvin R. of Indianapolis, and George W., of this city. Mrs. Rosa N. El wood died in Missouri, one sou and one daughter died in infancy. She loaves 14 grand children. She was an only daughter of a family of J1 children. Five are still living, three attended her funeral, Wm. Shepherd, of Ithica, Ohio, I). T. Shepherd and David Shepherd, of Greenville, Ohio. All her living childred except Mrs. Collins, of California, were present at her funeral. Also Adam Robbins and daughter,of Arcanum, Ohio, and Wilson Shepherd, of Greenville.The end of life what we call death came to her last Monday at two o’clock at Red Key at the 'home of her daughter Ruth, at the age of eighty-two years and eight monthsTen years ago she had her son Riley to write out a short statement of the history of her life, giving simply the dates of her birth removals and marriage, the same was used as an obituary at her funeral. She had made all arrangements for her funeral, selecting the text to he used and songs to be sung.Her funeral took place Dec. 18, ut the Farmland Christian Church conducted by Rev. J. R. Oortner, assisted by Rev. S. 15. Small of the U. B.church, in the presence of a large and mournful congregation. After services her body was lain away to rest in the Maxville Cemetery.
