Jacobs, Esq., a Jus-atSljtice of the Peace,|in and forsaid county, a negro man who says his name isJlon//lt;Thomas Woodward,tnd that he belongs to Mr. Peterson, a Bi negro trader, and ranaway from him at j ex Natchez, in October, 1849.Said negro is of a dark copper color, stout made, thick neck and low forehead, has a good se* of large teeth with the exception of one of the upper front row bro-1 ken off near the gum. He is about 23 years old, 5 feet 4 inches high. He had on when committed white cotton pants and shirt.The owner of said negro is requested to : Qjj come forward, prove property, pay charges j and take him away, or he will be dealt' at . with according to law.
