Edward Brumit, 90, a lifelong resident of Scott County, died at 8:20 p.m. yesterday at Shuffit Nursing Home. He was born Oct. 8, 1878. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Maggie Brumit, Blodgett; three daughters, Mrs. Lucille Nations and Mrs. Dorothy Bader, both of Los Angeles, and Mrs. Marie Burty, Maria, Calif.; two sons, Jess Brumit, Morley, and Joe Brumit, House Springs; a half-sister, Ide Brumit, MecLeansboro, Ill., Roy Brumit, Kentucky, and John Brumit, Michigan. The body was taken to the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel.
