Mrs. John Wicker Taken By DeathFuneral services were held at the Methodist church at 3 o’clock Tuesday afternoon for Mrs. John Wicker, former Checotah resident- who died at Baylor hospital In Dallas, Texas last Saturday. She had been critically ill for many months. , IMrs. Wicker Uved in Checotah tor; 40 years before she and her husband! moved to Dallas about five years ago. She had host of friends throughout this vicinity. She was a! member of the Methodist church and the Eastern Star.Burial was In Greenlawn cemetery under direction of the Hunter Funeral Home.Active pallbearers Included: Ellis Vandiver, Neal Johnson, Harry Che* nault, Jay Blackburn, Ed Lynn and Roy Reynolds.She Is survived by her husband, two daughters* Mre. J. C. Peacock of Dallas, and Mrs. Louis Edwards of Muskogee; two sons, John Lloyd of Minneapolis and Jack of Dallas.
