IThe lovers of basket ball received their money’s worth last Friday j night when the Bear Cats mixed it with the K. A. Cs of Wabash College and the Americans of Thomtown.It was a regular night for the Cats . and they displayed some of the best f' basket ball ability seen here in a 1 long time.The first game of the evening was with the Wabash College boys and they gave a good account of themselves. In fast it took five minute3 overtime to convince them that they were defeated. The first half ended 10 to 4 in their favor and in the last half the Cats made a change in their team that brought the score to 15 all when the final gun was sounded.Afterthe five minutes overtime had beenplayed, the Cats were on the long end of a 10 to 16 score. During this period of play, Marvel entered the game and it was by his speed and sureness on the basket that the Cats were victorious. *Following is the lineup and summary of the game:Darlington 19 K.
