MONROEVILLE ITEMS. From the Spectator. Theo. Measle has resigned as con stable of Ridgefield township and Jos. Seitz has been appointed by the trus tees to fill the unexpired term. Roscoe Wise, a prominent farmer of Sherman, father of Max Wise, of this place, died suddenly on Monday night of this week. More dwelling houses will be needed in Monroeville the coming year. Some one should take hold of this matter and push it along. Farmers west of Monroeville are bitterly complaining about the bad condition of West Monroe street. There is now a first-class macadamized road from Hunt’s Corners to the cor poration line, and the farmers feel that the village should macadamize its streets into town. The citizens of Monroeville should held a meeting and appoint a commit tee to entertain the promoters of the Cleveland-Indianapolis electric rail way when they come to town. This road will be a great benefit to our town and every effort should be made to have it built through the business cen ter, instead of going around us like the Lake Shore Electric. Rudolph Miller was found dead in bed at the family home north of North Monroeville, at an early hour Monday morning. Deceased was about thirty years of age, unmarried, and was a son of Mrs. Wm. Miller, who was burn ed to death a short time ago. The young man was subject to epileptic fits and it is supposed that he was taken with a fit during the night and stran gled to death.
