Berggren—P u tman.At 5:30 yesterday evening, Miss Carrie Berggren and Rutherford Putman were united in marriage at the Eden Baptist church, Rev. J. L. lied-bloom tying the nuptial knot. Miss Gertrude Stanton played the wedding march. Miss Ella Berggren, sister of the bride, and Miss Putman, sister of the groom, acted as bridesmaids, and W. Smith of Lincoln, cousin of the groom, and Adel Berggren, brother of the bride, as groomsmen, Little Neola Carlson and Morris Olson were bride attendants. •It was a very pretty wedding aflfair, and about one hundred and fifty in vited guests witnessed the ceremony. After the exercises at the church were over with, the wedding party went to' the home of the bride's parents and partook of ax sumptious wedding supper.The principals in the above affair are well and favprably known in this community, having spent the greater part of i heir lives here. They have many friends and acquaintances who wish for them a happy and peaceful voyage along the path of married life.Mr. and Mrs. Putman were the recipients of a large number of useful and valuable presents. The News extends to Mr. and Mrs. Putman congratulations.
