BY LOREN LISTIAK SUN STAFF WRITER A 19-year-old Yuman sus pected of killing a youth with a baseball bat is scheduled to go to trial March 10. When Yuma County Superior Court Judge Thomas Thode set the trial date during a hearing Tuesday, he said he would set aside the entire week for the tri al. The attorneys — defense attorney Mike Donovan and prosecutor Ken Sheffield — said they believed the trial would last four or five days. The attorneys also agreed there have been no difficulties in obtaining evi dence and their cases are moving along as expected. Ricardo Julian Ortiz Jr. is charged with second-degree murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon for an alleged attack on Jesus Eduardo Valenzuela, 17.
