Ida Rixeri/ 88Funeral services for Ida Rixen of Harlan were Monday morning (Dec. 16) at Congregational United Church of Christ in Harlan. Burial was in Harlan Cemetery.Mrs. Rixen, 88, died Friday at Myrtue Memorial Hospital, Harlan. She was born in Shelby County and was employed at Bisgard Hospital and the Baptist Memorial Home, where she had lived since 1973.Her husband, Arthur, died in 1944.Surviving are two sons, Glen of Harlan and Walter of Grinnell; a daughter, Dorothy (Mrs. Gene) Obrecht of Lincoln, NE.; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.Pauley Funeral Home handled the arrangements in Harlan.
