Wedding to be performed in St. Jude Mission churchMr. and Mrs. L.ouis C. Avila of Alamogordo have announced the engagement of their daughter, Stella Margarita Avila, to Michael Roy Seifert, son of Mr and Mrs. Adrian C. Seifert of Fairview Park, Ohio.The wedding will take place in St. Jude Mission on Jan. 7. Father Wilfred Diamond will officiate at the 11 a.m. ceremony.The bride-to-be is a 1981 graduate of Alamogordo Senior High, where she was a member of the Office Education Association and the Alamogordo Tiger Marching Band She is a member of St. Jude Mission. Avila is employed as a clerk-typist by the United States Army Communications Command Her sisters are Mary Helen Avila and Mrs. Tony (Alma) Garcia; shealso has a brother, Ieo Avila. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Cruz V. Martinez.Her fiance is a 1982 graduate of Fairview High School, where he was a member of the Fairview High School Band The groom-to-be is a member of St. Angela's Church in Fairview Park, Ohio. He is stationed with the 883rd Security Police Squadron at Holloman Air Force Base.Seifert has a sister, Sherry, and four brothers Gary, Danny, Tony and Christopher Seifert.
