Ardella Sloan Rites Are Held TuesdayArdella Sloan, 73 years old, widow of'; William C. Sloan, and resident lt;Df Checotah since 1909, died Sunday in Vinita after a lingering illness.Funeral services were held at the First Methodist church at 2:00 o’clock Tuesday afternoon with Rev. Delos Welch officiating. Burial was in Greenlawn cemetery under direction of the Powers Funeral home.Survivors include: two daughters, Christine Zethraeus of Fort Worth, Texas., Mrs. Mildred Stanley of Ponca City; one son, H. W. Sloan, Arkon, Ohio'and four grandsons.Active pallbearers were: EdLynn, Orville Lynn, Grayson Black-well, Harry Chenault, W. K. Brice and George Stidham. »
