Miss Alice Lund arrived Wednes day to spend her vacation with her parents and assist in the post office during the holidays. Mrs. Lee Olds spent Sunday at the home of Mrs. Martha Olds. Oscar Grandah and Ingerman Anderson have returned from Ath ol, Idaho, where they have work ing for some time. Twin sons of Mr. and Mrs. Hans Tweed, Lester and Luther, left on Tuesday for the navy. The teachers Christmas gift ex change party was held at the home of Supt and Mrs. McLaird. A buffet supper was served, Arden Nelson is leaving Thursday for the navy. Ed Tunberg returned Friday from St. Cloud Veterans’ hospital where he had been for a check up. Mrs Burton Johnson left for Santa Ana, Calif., to spend the holi days with her husband. Oliver Stanley of Chicago is here visiting his parents. The blackout was a success in Pequot Lakes Monday night. Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Cline were shopping in town Tuesday. Mrs. Tillie Noris has returned from Foley, Minn., where she has been visiting her daughter, Mrs. Arthur Olson,
