At Cotinty Farm Too.Merry Christmas should go for all. young and old alike. In many cases' older people receive a thrill on Christmas that youngsters do not feel. So we mustn't forget those poor souls who are confined to the county poor farm. True, most of them live in memories. All were once children and recall many happy Christmas days.The fund of $1,000 which now being raised here, is for the purpose of taking care of the cases here mentioned. A little out of your pocket is insignificant to you, but its is surprising how much joy and significance it willmean to someone.This annual fund has never failed and it surely won’t fail this year. Your donations are to be left or sent to the Walters Music store where the money will be handled for Atchison’s needy Never is there a lime when “it is more blessed to give than to receive * tnen it this time, and never was there a moreworthy cause.School children are taking a great interest in the fund. The first grade of Franklin school has donated two pecks of potatoes along wHh a good quantity of vegetables and canned goods. The children of Martin sciio 1 brought from their homes enough food, clothing and presents to fill two I n trudes. With spirit such as this, uv* drive will not fail
