Will of the Late Mrs. Hester A. Ridout, The will of the 1 st. Hester Ann Ridort was admitted to prohste today After requesting that her rewaing be buried at White Hall, by the side of her husband, and that a suitable tablet or monument be placed over his grave if she had not already done so, she bequeathes her property as follows: One half undivided share in White Hall, with all the build ings to Eleanor Ridout, sister of her de ceased husband, during her life. At her death to become property to fee of Or lando Ridout, Jr. One quarter undivided share of White Hall to Orlando Ridout, Sr., during his life, and at his death ,to become the property in fee of his son Or lando, Jr., reserving one acre for his fam ily grave yard, with right of way by land and water from the public road for all time. The remaining one-forth undivid ed share of interest is left to the said Or. ‘ando Ridout, Jr., in fee with sane condi tions as heretofore provided. At the death of Eleanor Ridout, the sum of $100 a year shall be paid to Eleanor Mezzick, Irene Mezzick and Frank Mezzick for five years. A home at White Hall is provided for Wm. Ridout and Margaret Ridout at the death of Or lando Ridout, Sr. To James Ridout $500; to Richard M. Chase, cousin of de ceased, Thomas Point,” Fishing Creek farm; to Dr. Thomas B. Chase, another cousin, is left the farm ten miles from Annapolis, known as *‘Woodlands;’’ to Sallie M. Chase, another cousin, Jot and building on the northeast side of King George street. The following clause also appears to the will: Desiring to establish a home for destitute, aged and infirm women, where they may find a retreat from the vicissitudes of life and to endow,the same as far as my means will allow, to be call ed and known as the ‘Chase Home,” I hereby devise and bequeath to Dr. Wm. G. Ridout, John Schaaff Stockett, John Wirt Randall, Frank H. Stockett, Eugene Worthington, Dr. Zachariah D. Ridout, Elizabeth M. Franklin and Anne 8. Stockett, and to their heirs, successors and assigns, all that lot of perces on Maryland Avenue, in Annapolis, togeth er with the buildings and improvements thereon, where I naw reside (not includ ing any of the lots, part of said property, which have heretofore been leased or sold,) together with the furniture which may be in said house at the time of my decease; not including, however, family portraits and silverware—in trust, to, be held by them and their successors in per petuity for the object and purpose of said “Home.”’ And ten thousand dollars to Hester Ann Hardwood, at her death to be equally di vided to her daughters Ivey and Hester Ann. The executors are James M. Mun roe, Frank A. Munroe and F. H. Stockett. The will of James Pritchard and Eliza beth Burton, were also probated today.
