Z4ttle History.It ia worthy of ote, and recollection, that the First Congregational Churchof the City of Eara C{aire':wajr6rg5niziflTjust thirty years ago on yesterday, viz., on December 17,1856, with the Rev.-A. Kidder as pastor. Th® only surviving members of the original organic zttah who are yet residing- in the city are the Rev. and Mrs. Kidder and Mrs, Daniel Shaw. The first church edifice (part of the structure yet in use, corner of Third avenue and Chippewa street) was dedicated on ^January 1, 1860, Many changes have taken place in Saw Claire since the organization of .this church, and Mr, and Mrs. Kidder and Mrs. Shaw have been intelligent/wit* n eases of all such changes and active participants in the efforts that have accomplishedi-good;—May-they-yet live many years, in the full enjoyment of life, Comforting their numerous friends.8HChenca:soet:eriouthfoiCODi
