The Committee on Ways and Means heard a delegation on the subject this morning, srtd found about 100 Taetnotials, tfrom ..every section of the country,' calling for a repeal of those portions of the law. Ono from Chicago^ was signed by 8,000 names. It is very likely that the committee will recommend legislation. extending the time.
