COKES ABE RAT POISONHere is a good story in connection with the rat- poisoning program, vouched for by Jim Prince of the Club Cafe and J, T. Elza, farmer who furnished the rats for the experiment.Prince has heard that Coca Cola will kill rats and asked Elza to try it, which he did, and the rats disappeared, some of ’em at least dying. Later they came in from the fields, and he had put out this delicious drink again and now he states he can find no more rats.The two say that rats cannot belch and that the gas formed by the drink kills the rodents. It is presumed that any carbonated drink would have the same effect.0O0
