Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Schoonover Were entertained by their child ren, Iletha, Vern ad Marcus at ther home In Smethport, Sunday, in honor of their silver wedding anniversary. Dinner was served late In the afternoon at which time Mr. and Mrs. Schoonover announced the engagement of their eldest daugh ter, Aletha, to Leland Johnston of Smethport. Those who were present were Mr. and Airs, Senza Grinolds, Ane drew Cook, Mrs. C. BE. Diesel and daughter, Jane, Coudersport, Mrs. Minnie Lewis and Mrs. Cora Fhaw, Port Allegany, Mrs. W. EB. Schoonover, Smith Millz, N.Y. Mr. and Mrs. T. R. Owens and son. James, Westons. The table was centered with a huge wedding cake adorned with a miniature bride and bridegroom, with the names Aletha and Lee land, attached.
