-7-0-?—CHRISTMAS LIQUOR NABBEDi pJoe Morgan and Ullas Polen, federal prohibition officers began a campaign Wednesday to make Sequoyah county dry, at least during the holidays.The federal operatives worked quietly and came up on a still located! six miles northeast of Boland, They placed Arthur Roberts, Harvey Davis, and Jess Czarnoki under arrest oniicharges of violating the prohibition law. The officers seized a still, a large quantity of mash and about a gallon of com liquor.The accused men were brought to $al'isuw late Wednesday evening andwere taken before U. S. Commissioner«itJ. W. Breedlove, Roberts’ and Davis’ bonds were placed at ?1000 and Czar-noski's at $500. They were placed in the county jail in default of bond.Commissioner Breedlove issued two warrants following Roberts’ et al pre-liminaries for the arrest of vtwo other men ,sa}d to be part owners in the still. They will probably be arrested today.Redcloud Fleetwood of Moffett was in Sallisaw Thursday! to obtain bond for the alleged moonshiners, but at ailate hour Thursday the men were stillIin custody of the county officers.
