Grant Slocum, who operated a threshing outfit this fall,cannot cease wondering at the yields made here. A man from the Palouse section visited our machine while it was in operation/’ he said, and you know those Palouse fellows think theirs the only wheat section on earth. This man had heard of the great crops here but refused to believe the stories. He came over to investigate and went home with the conviction that the Palouse was outdistanced by the Cut Bank section.
