from Downer* Grove with Mr. Rood when he went there as pastor of the Grace church, Mr*. Hood was the mother of three ministers. He vs. if. L. Hood of Grand Rapid*, and John S. Hood, formerly pastor of Prospect street Congregational church of Klgin are the other minister* of the family. One other son. K. M. Rood a cattle dealer iu South Dakota, survives her. The funeral was held at the parsonage Saturday afternoon at 2:45. The burial was at Clift^u.Pennsylvania. The great number of friendiN^f the late Mrs. Rood and her eon ami family here where he labored for many years will extend their condolence to the sorrowing relatives.
