In conversation with Dr. Anderson of Havelock, who was in Laurens on Saturday, we learned that George Froctor was improving finely and that he was not nearly so seriously hurt as was at first supposed. He isnow able to be around again.• * * *Constable Oc. Pease was in town the first of the week serving papers, but before he had finished his job old Furies* served a netice on him of a different kind and as a result, he was under the doctor’s care several days with a diet of quinine capsules and aconite as a side dish.
