STATE GASES. State va. Wm. Baker; assault and battery with intent; trial by court, and found not guilty. State ve. Larkin T. Spradley; assault and battery; trial by court, guilty, fine $20.00. State vs. John Grimes; justicious tresspass; guilty, fine $2.0 State va. Clifford McCoy, carrying concealed weapons; guilty, fine$5.00. State vs. Elbridge T. Shrode, carrying concealed weapons; plea not guilty, and after trial the case was dismissed. The trial of the State vs. Benjamin Roth, transcript, will be called on the 16th day. State vs. Seavers, for murder, comes up for hearing today. State vs. Henry Splittort, petit larceny. Defendant pleaded not guilty, and the trial was by jury, finding ‘the defendant, guilty and sentencing him to two years in the State Prison. CIVIL CASES. Harriet Johnson vs. Wm. Johnson, divorce; case went by default, court granting a divorce and $100 alimony to plaintiff. Henry W. Zapp vs. Leander Withers, damage; venue change granted to Vanderburgh county. Elizabeth J. Dial vs. Shadarack E. Dial, divorce; court granted divorce, and defendant to pay attorney fees. Pauline Curtis vs. Viola and C. W. Tomlinson, foreclosure; granted by default, judgment for $765.70. . John Catteridge vs. Robert Mar shall, C. AO. McKinney, et al.: trial by court, finding that plaintiff is en titled to one- half of the real estate and defendant McKinney one-half, and that defendant Marshall owns no part of the said personal property. George W. Hilison vs. Martin E. Ellison, to recover; decided in favor of defendant. Sarah Dyson vs. Zachariah Dyson, divorce; playtiff granted divorce, #100 slimony, and attorney fees. Sharp Williams vs. Enoch W. Taylor, Isaac Woods, August Tooley, account; judgment of $105 for plaintiff.
