Especially strong is the scene when I sard Essex, for whom the queen has formed an attachment, is led to prison, the scene of his death by execution and the death of the queen The pictures show Mme Bernhardt at her best,and even though the voieo is lacking her personality seems to radiate front the screen.These pictures are the latesttilings in motion photography andthe first to he produced by the Famous Player* Company, a corporationI headed by Daniel Frohman, whichfrom time to time will offer great| theatrical stars in photoplays.
