ivmmau aim letters ordered.FUNERAL SERVICES.MOY.The funeral of William Moy took place Sunday afternoon at the undertaking parlors of Henry McDonnell, on North West street. There was no funeral sermon and no minister there to say a few words over the remains of one whose life was wrecked hy wrong doing. The remains were laid to rest in the Hast cemetery in the presence of a large number of friends. The pall bearers were Con Harridan, Hen ry Waltman, John McGinnis, Arthur and Cy McAvoy. One who was at the funeral said: •‘There was not one of the large crowd of people who stood around the remains and watched them descend into mother earth, but knew and felt that the soul that once inhabited that decaying tenement was of as much value in the sight of the Maker as some of those who are lauded to the skies with pomp and pageant and great funeral oration. Moy had many good traits about him. lie would if occasion demanded it, throw himself between Ins friends and danger, even at the cost of his life. He was generous to a fault; his own worst enemy, and with the mental characteristics which, if properly trained, would have made him a good citizen. Lt*t us hope that his own great Master will judge him more mercifully than some of those self righteous ones who rejoiced in his downfall.
