Yellowstone Kit Arrexted.A large number ot the citizens ofAlbany petition 'd Mayor Wilder of t*»at city to revoke the license o' Yellowstone Kit, the mighty magician. on the plea that he was a fraud and was playing upon the credulity and ignoraDceof tho peo. pie. The mayor accordingly ordered tho city marshal to inform Kit that his license was revoked, and furthermore, that it he offered anymore of bis wares for sale to arrest him.This was accordingly done at the next performance. Kit submitting willingly to the arrest, and was fol lowed to the lock-up by bis entire audience who seemed in sympathy with him. The marshal oflered to re-lea3e him on bond, which Kit refused to give, and finally on tho advice of the mayor released him on bis own recognizance until tho matter could undergo thorough legal examination, as he doubled the right to lock him up on the charge presented. Kit still holds tho fort, and the result of the whole business will be a big advertisement for him and his magic pads.
