The station has been operated by Northwest Broadcasting System, Inc., on jj( channel 22 since last Jan. 7.William Barclay, vice president and chief engineer, said the license has not been canceled and he is hopeful the station will soon be on the air again.The firm filed a petition in Federal Court for voluntary bankruptcy, and Eugene Golden was appointed receiver by the court.Speaking for the receiver. Golden said it is the desire of the receivership to get the station back on the air as soon as possible. Representatives of other firms are in Walla Walla now negotiating for the station. Barclay intends to remain here for an indefinite period although the other owners of the original Northwest Broadcasting System are gone.
