WOONSOCKET Mr. and Mrs. Leeb Johnson and daughters, spent last Saturday in Mitchell. Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Larson and sons were in Sioux Falls visiting relatives Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Jess Evans and family visited last week at Orient. Mrs. Jens Ornes of Mitchell visit ed from Sunday until Tuesday at the John Dodge home. Miss Anna Hollister and Miss Porter of Vermillion spent the week-end at the Hollister home. . Mr. and Mrs. John Schmitz of Chamberlain spent the week-end with relatives here. Mrs. Julia Langbehn came Sun day from Seattle, Wash., to attend the funeral of her father, Lars Gere. Mr. and Mrs. Connole and baby left Sunday for Howard after being here several weeks at the A. N. Carlisle home. William Goergen, sr. died early last week. The f 1 was sheld at the Catholic church Saturday. Edward B. Oddy was in Huron Monday attending the meeting of the state tax conference. R. B. Palmer and Frank Johnson were in Sioux Falls recently at tending federal court. Mrs. William Gregg has return ed from Rochester, Minn., where she received medical treatment. Mrs. William Rebehn and Lye and Raymond Kirschman of Wade na, Minn.., left for their home Wed nesday after a few days visit with their sister, Mrs. Hal Lucas. Mrs. Leland Vessey and two children of Wessington Springs spent a few days last week visiting at the A. N. Carlisle home. George Ryckman of Long Beach, Calif., arrived recently for a several months’ visit. Dr. A. C. Clark has returned from Minneapolis, Minn. Mrs. Clark will remain with Mrs. Burdette Clark who recently submitted to an operatic Miss Tee Allen has gone to San ta Monica, Calif., where she will make her home.
