Mrs. H. R. Mefry of Sixth street was delightfully surprised Friday evening, Dec. 7, by the members of the choir of St. Marks A. M. E. church, at the homo of Atty. R. C. McCullough. Mrs. Merry accompanied by her husband and family is to leave soon for the south where they are to teach school. H$r many friends will undoubtedly miss her, but all unite in wishing for both the greatest of success. f
